France24 —Trump’s Iran deal exit forces EU to confront US ‘economic policeman of the world’ by Leela JACINTO , Sébastian SEIBT

“US President Donald Trump’s pullout from the Iran nuclear deal has put Europe under pressure to salvage the 2015 multilateral agreement. But does the EU have what it takes to stand up to US sanctions?

The day after Trump announced his long-dreaded decision to withdraw from the 2015 Iran nuclear deal, EU members were hammering out measures to try to protect European firms doing business in Iran from US sanctions.

The JCPOA (Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action) – as the Iran deal is formally known – was signed between Iran, the US, Russia, China, Britain, France, Germany and the EU.

But Trump’s pullout has left international companies doing business in Iran vulnerable to the extraterritoriality of US law, which enables Washington to punish foreign companies operating in Iran if they have business dealings with the US or use dollar transactions.”

From day one, this deal was a disaster and gave Iran the power it should never have had!

The deal left Israel out in the cold, with no protections and not even the recognition that it is a country, like any other and should be able to live in peace.

Obama, didn’t care, as he and Secretary Kerry knew that part of the $150 Billion, they gave to Iran, that America won in court, monies that should have gone to those families of hostages, killed or long held around the world, would FUND terrorism! This was alright, according to our government then, as the greater good should prevail! Are they kidding, nuts, drank to much kool-aid?

How is the greater served when innocents are murdered because they don’t have the same ideology the terrorist believe?

Who would allow Iran, a country who has wished death to the infideles, Americans, to be allowed to hand nuclear inspectors “dirt” from wherever they please, that shows they don’t have nuclear plants operating? Iran hasn’t earned enough trust to be believed.

A deal which allows Iran to keep enriching uranium, at a lesser level, to add to their already increased stockpile?

The President said he would negotiate another deal, one which there would be empirically verifiable evidence, that Iran would not be allowed to become a nuclear nation, continue to fund terror and other important factors.

All our European allies are worried about the trade they may lose, but, is it really worth the lives that are taken from funds, given to Iran, which are then passed to terrorist?
