They used a disgusting human being as a figure head as they installed him into the Oval Office. Little by little, their plans were unraveling and the loyalty they expected from those around them started to crumble as everyone could see the manipulations that got them there in the first place.
Democrats misjudged the American electorate thinking they would go along with anything they did so long as they held office. That fantasy is in their heads now and the public have had enough. If you believe polls then for sure their ship is sinking, and the life rafts have been put into the water. They have a long way to go to the shore and a lot of trust bridges are broken so they will have to try and navigate back to policies that make sense. That will be difficult because their capacity for self-appraisal hasn’t caught up to them yet!
