Joe is now our Director of Operations and came to us in 2014 as his first job after graduating from George Mason University, where he majored in Communications and minored in Astronomy.
While in college, he interned with WTKR Channel 3 in Norfolk for 2 months. Some of the scripts he wrote for the internship made their way into the newscasts.
Joe also dabbled in internet radio while at Mason. He was a DJ with their internet radio station WGMU. He DJ’d for a total of 11 months and in that time interviewed over a dozen musicians and conducted promotional interviews with a reporter for Al-Jazeera America and a wrestler from the WWE.
Just out of college, he brought with him almost a year of interning with Main Street Radio Network as a creative and technical editor for the Alan Nathan Show, which he has been guest-hosting since 2020. He has also been co-host of the “Silk Or Joe Show” since 2021.
