Since the onset of Covid 19, many Governors who didn’t handle the situation right, looked for someone to blame other than themselves or their advisers.

Most, went right for the President. Either he was xenophobic, then they said he didn’t close the country down sooner or he downplayed the virus and it’s effects.

Trump, much to the chagrin of many, mobilized drug companies, machine manufactures, supply chain manufactures to get supplies to much need areas around the country.

Guess the Democrats wanted the President to stand in front of the American people, be scared and predict a doomsday scenario. They wanted panic in the streets, people standing in line for food and a run on the banks.

The reality is, Coronavirus is a form of Flu which this country gets every year and have done so, for decades. Each year, it is different with some years being more severe. During the 2018-2019 season, the CDC estimates 16.5 million people went to a health care provider, 850,000 went to the hospital for the flu and more than 34,000 people died in the U.S. The numbers aren’t in for this season yet, but in the first half of the year over 30 million have had the flu.

Some Democrats lawmakers say some draconian measures will change after the Election. Why then? Why not change before then?

Look at New York, they told people in March, go out, see your neighbors, go downtown. Gosh, even Speaker Pelosi said go to Chinatown, have fun, be outside.

The Governor of the State of New York, Andrew Cuomo denied this week that his state Health Department’s controversial March 25 order saying nursing homes could not bar admission or readmission to a resident based on a positive COVID-19 test had anything to do with the over 6,500 deaths in those facilities related to the virus. Talk about covering your ass? The lies just keep coming with the narratives changing constantly. Yesterday, Governor Cuomo, blamed nursing home staff for the deaths of residents saying they brought in the virus into the facilities all over the State.

Back in April, the New York Times put a spotlight on California, New Jersey and New York for having made nursing homes accept Covid-19 patients from hospitals. Now, the blame gets shifted as Governors are being looked at more closely on how they handled the virus. Residents and staff of these homes were fearful of the spread and rightfully so, as deaths in Nursing homes soared to 42% of all deaths related to Coronavirus.

Declaration by 3 epidemiologists from Harvard, Oxford, and Stanford elicits support and criticism

More than 32,000 medical doctors and health scientists from around the world have signed a petition against lockdowns put in place to curb the spread of COVID-19, saying the measures are causing “irreparable damage.”

As of Oct. 13, over 23,000 of the signatories were medical practitioners and 9,000 were medical and public health scientists. They have joined more than 400,000 members of the general public in signing the petition.

The petition is co-authored by Dr. Martin Kulldorff, a Harvard professor and epidemiologist with expertise in detecting and monitoring infectious disease; Dr. Sunetra Gupta, an Oxford University professor and epidemiologist with expertise in immunology; and Dr. Jay Bhattacharya, a Stanford University Medical School professor and epidemiologist with expertise in infectious disease and vulnerable populations.

“Coming from both the left and right, and around the world, we have devoted our careers to protecting people. Current lockdown policies are producing devastating effects on short- and long-term public health,” reads the petition, titled the Great Barrington Declaration, after the Massachusetts town where it was authored by the three experts on Oct. 4.

The declaration says lockdowns result in worsening cardiovascular disease outcomes, fewer cancer screenings, lower childhood vaccination rates, and deteriorating mental health, to name a few issues, all of which will lead to high mortality rates in the years to come.

“Keeping students out of school is a grave injustice,” the doctors write.

Instead of shutting everything down until a vaccine is available, the doctors say focus should be on minimizing mortality and social harm until herd immunity is reached. Herd immunity refers to when a population becomes immune to an infectious disease, which the doctors say will eventually be reached for all populations, and can be assisted by, but not dependent upon, a vaccine.

“Fortunately, our understanding of the virus is growing. We know that vulnerability to death from COVID-19 is more than a thousand-fold higher in the old and infirm than the young. Indeed, for children, COVID-19 is less dangerous than many other harms, including influenza,” the declaration states.” Epoch Times

What it comes down to, many lawmakers have used Covid as a political football, to sew unrest, cause fear, to change the outcome of the election. Their blame of the President, is supposed to take the stink off of them!
