Yeah, that self-contradicting tactic proved as vacuously ineffective as the Democrats had feared.
Unlike Vance, Harris was not able to both answer questions while pivoting to a preferred context.
Instead, Harris clumsily answered questions never asked while opposing arguments never asserted – and it showed.
Harris’s thus far biggest chance to move the needle was squandered.
