The gift that keeps on giving! Representative Alexandria Ocasio Cortez just can’t help herself! She opens her mouth, spews such ridiculous nonsense, she obviously has no facts and casts blame to all those who believe working for a living to support their families is somehow wrong.
This past weekend in Dallas, Cortez decided to let the audience know, that Capitalism, in her view, is to blame for all the inequality in this country.
She said; “Capitalism is an ideology of capital — the most important thing is the concentration of capital and to seek and maximize profit,” Ocasio-Cortez said. And that comes at any cost to people and to the environment, she said, “so to me capitalism is irredeemable.”
Her statement makes no sense and is functionally illiterate. What does that say about the people who sit there and listen and don’t say a word about her gibberish?
She doesn’t think all of Capitalism is bad, although she doesn’t say what. Her basic theory is, anyone who works hard, has a vision to start a company, makes a success of it, should somehow feel horrible because they triumphed. And if they don’t share that good fortune with others, than it’s nothing more than greedy individuals causing others to fail!
Obviously, Representative Cortez has never lived in a country where once the money runs out, you are plunged into darkness, must stand in line for bread, milk, water and only allowed to withdraw pennies from one’s own bank account.
We have seen the fail policies of socialism crumble all over the world with countries that have finally run out of money. This is how Congresswoman Cortez wants America to proceed. Pit those with, against those without.
