In any other arena, when you are proven to lie, you have to own up to it. When you falsely accuse others, you have to own up to it. When you willfully mislead the public, you have to own up to it. You may never get your credibility back and if you do, you have to fight hard to get anyone to trust you again.

Only Democrat politicians and media acolytes get to keep accusing and framing, exploiting and abusing this privilege but they never ever have to admit they were wrong. They move on to the next accusation and the next scheme as if nothing ever happened.  The truth never came out, and they were never shown not to just have a little egg on their faces but a whole omelette.

Their strategy is not only to ignore the truth going in to a false story but to ignore the truth going out.  If the story was proven to be false, they ignore that bit of truth and move on to the next lie without skipping a beat.  Before President Trump was even inaugurated, this bunch tipped their hand about their relentless plan to unseat him before he had served even a day.  Once again, in any other arena this would be laughed at as a motive you simply cannot deny and one which poisons any other accusation going forward.

What’s more, deep-staters never challenge the veracity of each other. They just keep throwing the linguine on the wall hoping something will stick.

The media expects to enjoy unlimited chances and endless credibility. They themselves will probably never be disabused of this notion but I am optimistic that slowly but surely, the viewers and the listeners are.
