Not liking dissent, VP Harris’s running mate MN Gov. Tim Walz recently said, “There’s no guarantee to free speech on misinformation or hate speech, and especially around our democracy.”
Fortunately, Matal v Tam 2017 crushed that BS. Walz simply remains moronocally clueless about it.
That said, Walz and fellow Democrats (many in government) advocate censorship against dissent in the name of fighting what they label as “misinformation,” while preempting challenge to their use of said label thus ensuring that they never need to defend their arguments.
Isn’t that a neat trick?
They’re essentially saying, ‘We’re not letting you disagree based upon a reason you don’t get to know.”
Democrats cannot tout themselves as defenders of Democracy while championing one of the pillars of fascism – censorship.
