One of the main reasons the Senate will have a difficult time trying to maintain a slight edge over the GOP is the Inflation Reduction Act, which IS NOT helping ease inflation, prices or help shore up Social Security and Medicare Trust funds!
Senator Joe Manchin from West Virginia held up the vote on the that act as he wanted assurances regarding leases for drilling and other energy concessions. He was told he would have them, and this was the second time he was taken for a fool and the voters resent him for what he did by voting for that bill and going along with what he knew would hurt not only his constituents but others as well!
